Mr Marvel has been bringing magic into children's lives for over twenty years and demand now far exceeds supply. The Mr Marvel team continues to expand - each providing fantastic entertainment to thousands of children. With magic, Punch & Judy, the live rabbit, disco, snow and bubble machines all included as standard, the format and excellence of a Mr Marvel show can be relied upon. We will provide a party for your child that they will remember with excitement and nostalgia for years to come.
The story of Mr Marvel begins in 1987 with the original Mr Marvel performing basic magic shows for friends and family in the North London area. A local advert later and the introduction of Punch & Judy, together with the new star of the show, Benjy Bunny (the live rabbit!), and the good word of Mr Marvel begins to spread from one successful party to another.
1989 see's the birth of the next Mr Marvel – the ‘Watford’ Mr Marvel. The dynamic duo continues to entertain children with magic and Punch & Judy across North London and Hertfordshire.
A major event in the Mr Marvel history comes with the addition of the mini disco including flashing lights and bubble and smoke machines. Parents can now give the whole party over to Mr Marvel and make it completely stress free!
The new ‘Cambridge’ Mr Marvel spreads the joy of Mr Marvel further afield. Over the next couple of years more and more children want Mr Marvel at their birthday party. However, demand far outstrips supply and many parents are unable to book. Children are left disappointed so….
There is only one thing to do. Produce more Mr Marvels! All trained to the same very high standard and with every Mr Marvel carrying exactly the same equipment, now of course, with the snow machine. The good name of Mr Marvel continues to spread and children of more and more counties get to experience Mr Marvel!

hints and tips
A few suggestions to make your party a Marvellous one. The less distractions there are for the children and us the better the party will be!
Balloons! An essential part of any party, but if possible keep them out of the way until the very end. They make much better wall decorations than floor decorations.
Background noise. If parents do have to stay, then the quieter they are the better the party will be. Ask any entertainer what the hardest thing to contend with at a children's party is and they will all tell you the same answer: chatting parents!
Crisps and drinks. Please, please, please do not give the children food during the show. Concentration is the key to a great party. Parents feeding crisps and sweets during the show is a recipe for disaster – not only will it end up being a huge distraction for one and all, they won’t eat any of the tea you’ve spent hours preparing.
Outside parties. If the party does need to be outside, please put away all balls, toys and vehicles and tie up swings and slides.
Whole party. If Mr Marvel is to entertain at the whole party we highly recommend that you hold your party for the duration of Mr Marvel. Adding time before or after could be asking for trouble! Mr Marvel will aim to arrive no later than 15 minutes before the start of the party.
Reconfirming. If you wish to ring just before the day of the party to check if all is OK, please do not leave it until the day before to call. Always ring us a week before to give us
time to get back to you.

Tie some balloons to the outside of the venue - makes it easier for everyone to find!
Blowers and blowouts
Try to resist the temptation of handing out blowers or blowouts during the party - save them to the end!

After a quick break for food comes the second part of the party – the disco – where the birthday child even gets their name up in lights! The disco includes music, lights, games, karaoke, quizzes, dancing, smoke and bubble machines and the amazing snow machine – enticing even the hardiest of boys onto the dance floor! (the bubble and snow machines leave no mess) We defy adults and children alike not to get involved!magic
The magic, which is always age directed, involves unusual magic wands, smelly socks, animated puppets, magic spells and lots of energy! Many volunteers are called upon to help and fun and laughter are paramount.punch & judy
Traditional and modern at the same time, the Punch & Judy show takes the original story of the timeless old rascal, Mr Punch, and brings him bang up to date in a politically correct 21st Century! The show includes the ever-present Judy, the long suffering baby and a surprise appearance from a very snappy crocodile, all kept under control by PC World, the policeman.rabbit
The star of the magic show, the live rabbit, rounds things off. All Mr Marvels have a live rabbit with its own individual name. Arms crossed now, legs crossed and whiskers crossed so you can stroke the rabbit….opportunities
