Mr Marvel and Marvella have been bringing magic into children‚Äôs lives for three decades and now demand far exceeds¬†supply. ¬†With magic, Punch & Judy, the live rabbit, disco, snow and bubble machines all included as standard, the format¬†and excellence¬†of a Mr Marvel show can be relied upon. ¬†We will provide a party for your child that they will remember¬†with excitement and¬†nostalgia for years to come.
Mr Marvel started in 1987, performing basic magic shows for friends and family in the North London area. ¬†After the inclusion of the Punch and Judy show and Benjy Bunny (a live rabbit) the good word of¬†Mr Marvel began to spread. A major event in the Mr Marvel history came with the addition of¬†the mini disco, including flashing lights, bubble and snow machines. ¬†Parents could now give the¬†whole party over to Mr Marvel and make it completely stress free!
Over the next few years Mr Marvel spread to Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire¬†and Kent‚Ä¶. and within only a few short years Mr Marvel was performing all over the¬†South East¬†with demand still outstripping supply, leaving many parents and children¬†disappointed‚Ä¶
There was only one thing to do. ¬†Produce more Mr Marvels and Marvellas -¬†all trained¬†to the same very high standard and carrying exactly the same equipment! ¬†The good¬†name of Mr Marvel continues to spread and children of¬†more and more¬†counties get¬†to experience the Mr Marvel Magical Fun Show.

Crisps & Drinks: Concentration is the key to a great party. Feeding crisps & sweets during the show is a recipe for disaster -¬†
not only will it end up being a huge distraction they won‚Äôt eat any of the tea you‚Äôve spent hours preparing.
Outside Parties: If the party needs to be outside, please put away all balls, toys & vehicles and tie up swings and slides.¬† ¬†
Party Times: Mr Marvel will aim to arrive no later than 15 minutes before the start of the party.¬†
Make sure you invite guests for the duration that Mr Marvel is going to be there.¬†
Adding time before or after could be asking for trouble.
Reconfirming: If you wish to ring to check if all is OK always ring us a week before to give us time to¬†
¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† call you back.
Background Noise: If parents would like to stay for a catch up it‚Äôs best to provide a separate area for them away from the children.

Noisy chatting parents can¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬†be the biggest distraction for the children and the entertainer throughout any show.¬†
Balloons: ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬†¬†An essential part of any party. They look great on the wall but not on the floor.¬†
¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† If this isn‚Äôt an option save them till the very end for a fantastic finale!¬†
Finding the Party: ¬† ¬†¬†Tie balloons to the outside of the venue for guests to see.
Party Blowers: Resist handing out blowers during the party - save them to the end. Great for party bags!
What age group does Mr Marvel cater for? - The Magic show is aimed at 3 - 7 year olds although it's family¬†
entertainment so everyone will enjoy it!¬†The Marvellous Disco Gameshow is for 7 year olds and upwards!¬†
What time will Mr Marvel arrive at the party? - Mr Marvel will be there no later than 15 minutes before the start time.
When should we feed the children? - For a two hour party it is best to feed them after one hour, before the disco.¬†
What happens if Mr Marvel is ill? - Mr Marvel doesn‚Äôt do being ill. In the very unlikely event that we really can‚Äôt be there, we will do everything we can to make sure that you have an entertainer.¬†
Can I book provisionally while I sort out my venue? - Yes of course!¬†We can hold your booking for three days.
Does Mr Marvel have Public Liability Insurance? - Yes, Mr Marvel is insured and all equipment is PAT tested.
How many children can we invite? - Our Mr Marvels & Marvellas will handle anything you throw at them - although a good number is between 10-35 children.
Can The Mr Marvel Show be outside? - It‚Äôs not impossible but there are often so many distractions that it‚Äôs usually¬†
better to have the party inside. You can always have the food outside!
What happens if we need to cancel? - If you need to rearrange the party due to illness we will, of course, work with you.¬†
If you need to cancel for another reason with less than 30 days to go and we don‚Äôt manage to refill the slot then there is a cancellation fee of 50% rising to the total amount if cancelling with less than 48 hours to go.
